Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel made waves this week when he vowed to block Chick-fil-A from opening in the city because of the political donations of the company’s ownership — saying the company’s religious donations don’t reflect “Chicago values.” At the same time, Emanuel was welcoming Nation of Islam leader\u00a0Louis Farrakhan’s offer to send men to help patrol the streets of the city.\u00a0Farrakhan’s oft-stated hatred of various other groups is obviously a Chicago value in Emanuel’s mind.<\/p>\n
