She\u2019s a second grader and I heard her telling her grandmother, <em>\u201cI have a thousand books and I\u2019m going to read all of them.\u201d<\/em> A few minutes later, she asked her grandmother, <em>\u201cWhat does stupendous mean?\u201d<\/em> (I\u2019m not sure I would have known that word in the second grade.) At one point, I asked her if she likes to read and her eyes lit up. <em>\u201cI\u2019m going to write my own books,\u201d<\/em> she said.
