This site has radically evolved over the last 15 years. With roughly 2,500 articles published in that time, it had become impossible for new readers to show up and hope to get a quick understanding of what I\u2019m trying to do. As a result, I\u2019ve finally published a new set of pages to act as a gateway for new readers.<\/p>\n

At the top of the page, there\u2019s a new link that says \u201cNew here?<\/a>\u201d which explains the basics of what I do on this site. On that page, there are links to six pages which categorize some of the major themes I\u2019ve written about over the years.<\/p>\n

Considering the sheer number of things I\u2019ve written, the biggest problem that I had in creating this welcome section is that I honestly don\u2019t remember most of what I\u2019ve written. So the current choices might evolve as I remember things that would better represent the ideas I\u2019m trying to write about.<\/p>\n

If you have the time, I would appreciate it if those who already read the site will explore those welcome pages \u2014 to see if all the links work and whether you know of different articles which would be better choices than the ones I\u2019ve chosen.<\/p>\n

If you explore the pages and see anything I ought to know about \u2014 bad links or typos, for instance \u2014 please drop an email to me at davidmcelroy@mac.com<\/a>. And if you think of any article I’ve published that you think I should have included among the samples for new readers, please let me know that, too.<\/p>\n

In addition, I just rewrote the page about who I am<\/a>, too, so feel free to check that out and let me know if you see any problems there, too.<\/p>\n
