We’re trying something new this week. If enough people like it, maybe it’ll become a regular Friday feature. I share a lot of silliness with other people — some political and some not — that never makes it over here. This is a sample of five of my favorites from the last week. In honor of Halloween, we start with the pumpkin that I’d like to duplicate if I still did Halloween decorations each year.<\/p>\n

Next, we have another of the many indications that life is starting to imitate Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you’re a fan of the popular game, Angry Birds<\/a>, you’ll understand why the birds need to visit this place. Now if the pigs could only learn to quit their thieving ways.<\/p>\n

This one is only funny to those with at least a passing acquaintance with quantum mechanics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And, finally,\u00a0Jacob Von Hogflume is the fictitious inventor of time travel, as well as a former and future resident of London, according to Dave Askwith and Alex Normanton. This was one of many funny signs created and posted throughout London by the pair, which they documented in their book “Signs of Life<\/a>.”<\/p>\n
