Are you ready for the government shutdown? Have you heard how dangerous it will be?
The mainstream media is warning us in ominous tones about the federal government shutting down Friday night after funding authorization ends. Everybody agrees it’s a terrible thing. But do you have any idea just how bad things are going to get without government to control everything?
You’ve probably heard that roughly a fourth of the federal government will shut down. That’s nine federal departments and smaller agencies. About 380,000 “non-essential” federal employees will be sent home and about 420,000 employees (“essential,” apparently) will work and not be paid.
But have you made plans for what to do when the feds turn gravity off? And what about when the solar power bill isn’t paid? How many days of darkness are you prepared for?
Are you scared yet?
