It’s been 17 years since cartoonist Gary Larson ended his comic strip, “The Far Side,” but it’s still one of the funniest comics ever drawn, as far as I’m concerned. We’re taking a look this week at a few of the many laughs from a man with a bizarrely wonderful sense of twisted humor.
Dogs can learn a lot of commands and they’re actually rather eager to please, but they don’t speak English — contrary to what many owners believe.
If you hang out with the supposedly brilliant people of the world long enough, you’ll wonder whether IQ is all it’s cracked up to be. (Check out a meeting of MENSA if you don’t know what I mean.)
Larson had a way of finding humor in scenarios of impending doom. Why is this funny? I’m not sure, but it works for me.
And, finally, the never-ending battle between a cat and a dog can get ugly sometimes.
