I’m launching a second podcast. It’s called the Alien Observer.
I still hope to bring Love & Hope back for a second season, but the things I have to talk about right now are very different from the concept I started for that show in January. This show might be more eclectic, because it’s more broadly about my observations of the world.
The Alien Observer is intended to give me a place to share audio about whatever’s on my mind at a given moment. A couple of times recently — here and here — I’ve recorded audio and just stuck it on here, so launching this will give me a place to share those sorts of things more broadly.
You might notice that the photo for the artwork was something I shot a couple of months ago and used here with an article. I couldn’t shoot a new photo right now, because since we’re still in the middle of an economic shutdown, my hair looks as though it’s gone back in time a few decades.
For now, this show is not going to be on any regular schedule. I’ll let you know when the first episode is ready to share.
In the meantime, go listen to my two recent audio posts if you’ve missed them. One is about the psychological necessity — for me, anyway — of building something new right now instead of waiting for a solution from governments. The other is about why it matters which ideas rule your world — and why I’m sick of having to dumb down my own ideas to have a chance of being heard.
