For me, there’s only one “must see” Christmas story each year. You can keep your Charlie Brown Christmas and Frosty and all the rest. There’s no secular Christmas story in the world that compares to “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Just be thankful I’m not around as you watch this, because I know the words to the songs — and I sing them with glee. I have the book version, too, just waiting to be read to the children I hope to have one day. I hope you’ll enjoy watching that old Grinchy Claus’s heart grow as much as I do each year.
‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’
By David McElroy ·
We can’t really change people, even if they offer us the control
My mother was more impressive than my father led me to believe
Can it be real love at first sight? This story may make you believe
We know our world must change, but we keep saying, ‘yes, but…’
I’m losing need to explain myself to those who misunderstand me
Despite death, finally finding love made life worth it for new widow
Outer storms will end, but storms in my heart do lasting damage
I can’t get over this terrible feeling that I need to talk to you on video
As a photographer, be prepared to doubt your talent every single day
